Flowers

I redecorated the office, painting the wall white and placing a table near it. The scene looked dull, so I tried placing some flowers on the table, which I had bought at a flower shop in the neighborhood.

They were the kind of flowers you could find anywhere, but I was very surprised by how attractive the place had become in my eyes, thanks to them. They helped to create just the ambiance you might find when a casual acquaintance drops by for a visit.

As a subject for photography, flowers are very much like people, revealing various personalities of their own. If young, they appear fresh and seductive on film. If old, they come out tasteful, having an appeal all their own.

What I have shown this time are not some unattainable objects found in a distant place, but rather, portraits of flowers you can find within easy reach.
