Kujyukuri Beach, an hour drive from tokyo,
is a toneless stretch of shore facing the Pacific Ocean.
Kujyukuri stands for the length of the beach back when is was measured by the orders of the Shogun, Minamoto no Yoritomo.
A tired town on the outskirts of Tokyo, has not much worth going to except for the smooth traffic flow.
I visit the beach every now and then, hoping to find something that will catch my eye.
Despite its nothingness.

九十九里浜は東京から車で、1時間程で行ける太平洋に面した景色の変わらない単調なトーンが続く海岸です。
少し廃れていて、とりたて何かがあるわけではないが、
ただ、道が渋滞しないという理由でそこに出かけます。
それでも、行った時は毎回何かを期待するが結局何かがあるわけでもない。
でも私はよくそこに出かけて行きます。
